Another thing you can try is the applesauce that has other fruits in it. I eat the Motts Healthy Harvest with no sugar. They have strawberry, country berry, and peach mango. I keep these in my desk at work for snacks.

You can also try the soy yogurts - they have some fruit also.

Do you like squash? You can try steamed green or yellow squash with the peel on. Squash is soluble, with the skin being insoluble, so you can get a little there. If it makes you nervous leaving the peel on, just peel it halfway. You can have striped squash. I like to have this when I'm also having rice as a side dish to bump up the soluble.

I only have raw carrots if they're in a salad, and I don't have problems with them. You can always steam carrots. They make a good side dish with a tiny bit of honey and maybe some cinnamon. Or plain is always good too.

Also, I think the one white, one wheat toast is a good idea.
