Hi Jamie,
I think that we get into a regular routine that our bodies are used to, and it's really difficult to break that cycle. I am a "D" and mornings are always the worst for me; they always have been the times when I do most, if not all, of my poops. When I first get up, the cramps begin -- and continue until I've finished all my poops. Sometimes that takes all morning long. I've tried to change this by not eating for several hours before bed, changing what I do eat before bed, and recently began taking probiotics at midnight.
I think I'm fighting a losing battle. That's just when my body wants to do its thing. I know what you're talking about, because when I was working I'd have this same problem, and the only solution for me was to get used to getting up a lot earlier to allow for my morning ritual.
Fun stuff, eh?
