Two things. First I just read your story on your webpage. It was very inspiring and moving. I also live my life one day at a time, if you know what I mean, so I really related. Thanks for sharing.
Second, I've had IBS for years and despite what the others say, I've found that Hillshire ham to be very safe in small portions. I take three of those thin slices (half the normal portion size on the package) and roll them up in a flour tortilla and have a nice light lunch or snack. I've even been know to pop a couple in a baggie and stick it in my purse when traveling, as my backup meal in case of unforeseen problems.
Everybody's different, and moderation in all things. Take what you like and leave the rest!
