and try that between meals on an empty stomach. Then try one on a different day right before a meal. There's a lot of variation here in what works best for different people.

After several days, you can try taking 2 a day, and then go up to 3 if you like. A lot of people don't need 3 a day as they're very strong. Just start gradually and increase from there if you need to. IBS is so boring in this way - everything needs to be a gradual change and a slow process to soothe your gut instead of shocking it.
