Hello All,
I bought a box of Sage flavored Stove Top stuffing yesterday at the store and prepared it for supper.
I added a little more sage and some poultry seasoning as well. It tasted good, but at about 1:15 am this morning, BOY did I PAY!
It turns out the stuffing had LOTS of dried onions in it as well as dried carrots.

I had LOTS of gas and a very large BM! I didn't get to bed until 2 AM this morning!
ONE more thing I CAN'T eat!!
Has anyone else tried this product?
Ingredients: ENRICHED WHEAT FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, NIACIN, REDUCED IRON, THIAMIN MONONITRATE, RIBOFLAVIN, [VITAMIN B2], FOLIC ACID), HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, ONIONS*, SALT, CONTAINS LESS THAN 2% OF COOKED CHICKEN AND CHICKEN BROTH, CARROTS*, YEAST, PARTIALLY HYDROGENATED SOYBEAN AND/OR COTTONSEED OIL, HYDROLYZED SOY PROTEIN, CELERY*, PARSLEY*, SPICE, NATURAL FLAVOR, YEAST EXTRACT, TURMERIC, SUGAR, CHICKEN FAT, DISODIUM GUANYLATE, DISODIUM INOSINATE, ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, WITH BHA, BHT, PROPYL GALLATE, AND CITRIC ACID AS PRESERVATIVES. *DRIED
I'm seeing high fructose corn syrup high on that list..Yeast extract is like MSG I've read somewhere. Some other ingredients there are questionable, and just not healthy. Other individual folks might react just fine, so go with what your body alone reacts like. Yeah, onion makes the world go round in taste, BUT can be a big problem even if ok on this diet; One of those individualistic things that one hopefully knows already when starting this diet. I think of this diet as a base point. Not good to rely on many prepackaged stuff, too many additives. Simple ingredient foods are easier.
