At the cinema my friends always enjoy ice cream, popcorn and various other unsafe treats. In search of something sweet to enjoy along with them and the movie I've bought these flavoured gums. Do the ingredients look safe for an IBS/FODMAP perspective?

'Glucose syrup, sugar, gelatine (bovine), modified potato starch, invert sugar syrup, acids (citric, acetic), vegetable oil, concentrated vegetable extracts (black carrot, spinach, stinging nettle, turmeric), flavourings, glazing agent (carnauba wax), colours (vegetable carbon, paprika extract, lutein).'

On a healthier note; is it safe to have a meal with no carbohydrates/starch? For instance; would it be safe to have a meal of just well-cooked SF vegetables (roasted red pepper, courgette, carrot and tomato paste?) with some protein?
