Welcome to the board,

I saw your posting previous posting about yogurt. Perhaps you didn't read that diary is not considered a IBS friendly product on the Heather's Eating for IBS diet.

Activa contains the probiotic BL regularus or Bifidobacterium lactis DN-173 010. It has been clinically tested on a very small group of IBS-C individuals. The results showed it had some effect on distention and it increased GI motility a bit. It is likely not a good product for IBS-D. And dairy can be problematic for some IBS suffers.

You might be better off trying a non-dairy probiotic that has been clinically tested such as Align, VSL#3 and Digestive Advantage
