Heather, I tried your Peppermint oil caplets & I took just one caplet & it it gave diarea & bad cramps from it.I have a very bad case of Diverticulitis which I have had since the mid-80's. I'm originaly from Wash.St.& I was livivg in the Lower Yakima Vally so went to the Walla Walla VA Hospital where they tested me with several tests & that's when was diagnosed with Diverticulitis. My wife bought your book of eating for IBS & I have fallowed it quite frequently. Sometimes it helps & some time it doesn't work. I have a prescription for for the cramps & it's called Dicilomine 20MG.They do help,but at times they don't help very much especialy the cramps get way too strong that nothing works. What I try to do is relax & keep active & moving which seems to help some. I need to know what I need to know what else I can do? Please give me some advise on what to do next.I'm gtoing to need to send back those caps I bought.I wonder if I'm allergic to them. How could I find out? I also back in Memorial Day weekend 2004 my Colon burst in me & I had an emergency operation on colon. The day I hsd it done,the Dr. who did the surgery said I was three hours from death.I chose to live. I need help,please.
