Welcome to the board,

It surely cannot hurt to consult with a GI doc to see if any follow-up tests are required. Also you might try Heather's break the cycle diet for a few days too.

Agave is high in excess fructose which is known to be an IBS trigger. The first to links in my signature will give you more information about the problems with foods high in excess fructose as well as some other foods that can exacerbate IBS symptoms. It is quite easy to use the advices on these pages and Heather's EFI diet together.
