Help - diet works/creates a problem

Hi all,
I tried this diet years ago, but did not stick it out. I was probably still eating something I couldn't give up and/or didn't want to give up. I went back on the diet a few weeks ago because I felt better after giving up ALL caffeine (including cocoa powder) and remembered it as one of the deadly sins. Over the years, I had developed a "coping" diet of lots of meat, eggs, dairy, high fat and and low carbs, plus loads of milk of magnesia. Now that I've been on the soluble fiber (rice, pretzels, bread, cookies, candies--to keep my weight up--and less protein and no dairy, I am needing hardly any magnesium. It is really great not to be bloated and in pain at the end of each day. And yes the diet is BORING. That said, my problem now is a terrible yeast infection, which I used to get more in my 20s, because I was eating a higher-carb diet then. What can I do? I'm between a rock and hard place. I already have only white cotton undies, no pantyhose, no-fragrance detergent and shower gel. If I cut out carbs I will drop too much weight. Any help would be appreciated.
