I recently read in you book "first year" p 5 upper GI symptoms are not part of the syndrome. I am so confused now. I have had stomach issues called by doctors IBS for at minimum 15 years. I have had heart burn realted symptoms, diarrhea, constipation, bloating, gas, pain you name it--I have had the ultrasound for gallstones--negative, many blood tests-liver, celiac bacterial, I have not yet had the upper GI scope deal (was too scared) but probably should...but everything I was told and everything I read screamed IBS...this is the first time I have seen that upper GI discomfort would NOT be IBS and I experience a great deal of that but all my other symptoms are soo IBS. The pain on the upper right has been for soo long that I have told myself none of this as dibilitating as it seems at times can be too serious because I ahve dealt with it sooo long that if it was overly serious something more would have come of it by now---I have never had a visual blood issue, fever, vomiting etc...but I do have nausea at times, and back /neck/joint pain often...not sure if related. This is so frustrating--I was so excited to find your site and I have already ordered products (have not started using them yet) but now feel like I may be on the wrong road??? Help
