I have tried all of Heather's high quality products for IBS-D and the diet recommendations. I found the diet recommendations made a difference, but disappointingly none of the products really seemed to make enough of a difference for me. I think they are high quality for sure and help many people. For whatever reason me they didn't help.

My symptoms started 4 years ago and were in fact severe with substantial weight loss. The worst of it was the first 3-6 months when I had no insurance and didn't know what was wrong with me. I thought the absolute worst. Those were dark days.

In the beginning I had all the expected diagnostics done with my Internist and GI doctors with very little helpful results.

Today I put myself at around 85% of how good I felt before all this happened. I highly suspected back then and still do to this day that my issue is a Small Bowel Bacterial Overgrowth from antibiotic treatments.

I have tried many different probiotics. Difficult to say if anyone of them helped. I also tried strangely enough Digestive Advantage Lactose Intolerance Therapy caplets because of the sensitivity to the dairy. This did seem to help with that by the way.

Recently (the past couple months) I have been taking Saccharomyces boulardii +MOS (Jarrow brand) and it has really made a noticeable difference! I am also looking at trying Flora3 (Lane Labs) which is similar with the additional of Bacillus coagulans, an additional ingredient. Both are worth a try---they can't hurt, can be used along with Heather's products and diet. They are fairly inexpensive compared to other similar products. I personally currently buy them through www.NEEDS.com, but they are available elsewhere.
