Just wanted to let ya know, you sound a lot like me when I was 14 and found out I had IBS. Its not easy, especially if you dont know how to prepare real healthy foods. So, what I would do was try to find IBS friendly snacks that weren't at all healthy but something I could tolerate and buy easily on my own. If you eat just snack foods though (not saying you do, but its easier to follow the diet this way when you are young) whether they are IBS friendly or not, in the long run your IBS will get worse. I think I am paying for my eating habits now that I had in my teens. Just make sure you dont forget to eat healthy meats, fruits, and vegetables. Mske sure to cook your food, because eating all cold and snacky foods whether you can tolerate them now, you will pay later! I wish I could go back in time and start better eating habits, please dont make the mistake I did!
