Mrs. Butterworth syrup can be a problem because like pop tarts it contains high fructose corn syrup which is a known IBS trigger. Here is a list of the ingredients:High fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, water, salt, cellulose gum, molasses, potassium sorbate (preservative), sodium hexametaphosphate, citric acid, caramel color, natural and artificial flavors. Try to stick with plain corn syrup.
Oscar Mayer's bacon is very high in fat and fat is a known IBS trigger.
Were you diagnoses with IBS by a gastroenterologist? If yes, what tests did they do? If no, who diagnosed you with IBS?
