Yes - I have had similar attacks. It is usually a result of GI spasms and intestinal gas. Only methane gas has a smell and not everyone produces methane gas. Usually only individuals with IBS-C produce methane gas. Your GI tract produces more hydrogen and carbon dioxide gases than methane gas and these gases are odorless. Not sure what the sloshing sound could be. Hope you get better soon.
