I always thought turnips were similar to potatoes, yams etc and therefore an easy veg to digest. But I was in so much pain tonight after having some roasted turnips for dinner that I googled them and found out they are a member of the Brassica family (brussel sprouts, cabbage, broccoli) etc. and high in sulfur and therefore a very gassy veg. Is this something you all knew? I thought I knew EFI inside and out. Learned the hard way - stomach is a balloon right now
