I believe the values of individual sugars in the first table at that site aren't always right. I rarely use the first table.

A more reliable source says papaya has 1.5 grams of glucose and 2.7 grams of fructose per 100 grams.

However, if look at the table at the bottom of the page which I pointed out in the previous posting that lists safe, moderately safe and foods to be avoided you will see papaya is in the avoid column. I know the information in this table is quite reliable.

Perhaps the most reliable source of information is the detailed paper about IBS and fructose linked to in my signature. In Table 2, you will note that papaya is in the list of unfavorable foods.

If you are looking for a table of amounts of individual sugars this table might be better than the one on the other site. It was prepared by the USDA. This table seems to be good too.

Sorry for the confusion. It is difficult to find a single site that has reliable values for each sugar. However, the chart at the bottom of the page I directed you too seems to be quite accurate even thought the table with individual sugar amounts has some questionable values
