It is heavy in the gut and you just can't handle a lot of it. The brown rice source of protein is not like eating brown rice-it is just from brown rice. Any protein powder is going to possibly cause gas. At least rice doesn't have the sulfur eggs do and isn't grown in little cages. Don't think protein powders will be any more tolerable than getting protein from foods like nuts, fish, tofu and egg whites. It is also possible that powders mess up your regularity more than food does. -------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004.
