shawneric,sorry for tmi but with all the incomplete evacuation I think having to use my finger could be an irritant? i do wash my hands well and use soap after I'm done. Should I go buy special gloves? I do not want to be using at least 10 gloves a day though...or should I wet my finger with some distilled water first?

I wonder if I will go back to a time when my ibs was less severe? I think I just need to heal my body by not having to use my finger all day and then not having acid reflux problems and not having to push in places to get gas relief. I think all those things are irritaing. Once I follow the diet and not give in for some time,then I think the finger issue will get better then the acid reflux,I think things will get under control then the bloating and gas attacks will get alot better.

One thing I notice is,for example yesterday a few minutes before I left for work I was on the toilet because I could feel a stuck stool and I just couldnt' get it out,so went to work,then had tons of gas and not feeling well. I got sent home early then sit down for half hour or so in a leaning forward position and notice I'm reliving gas easier then finally end up get the 2 pieces out before bed. I feel alot better sitting and my bms always happen when I sit in certain positions.
