I ended up having surgery and the doc discovered that I had endometrosis. This had nothing to do with my IBS. I am sorry that your family still teases you about your constipation problem. Unfortunately those who do not suffer from IBS don't realize that the bathroom jokes are not funny. I wish you luck at your appointment.
