So sorry to hear you have not been feeling well this summer. Do you find your symptoms change with the seasons? I'm not too sure about the pre-made almond bread. I have heard of a microwave-cooked version that doesn't take long to make. But, the almond flour is very expensive, as you know. I think you can buy boxed ready-to-make versions of non-wheat muffins and breads found in nutrition store. I have never made them. I just choose not to eat the real yeast bread, so it's not an issue for me...to find pre-made almond bread.
As for Splenda...YES! it can definitely give one unwanted results. It, along with aspartame, bothers me a lot, even in a small piece of gum. I don't have any negative effects with the Truvia.
I know it is so hard to stay on a sugar/grain-free diet for any length of time. But, it may be interesting to see if your symptoms don't improve after following it for awhile. Just don't expect magic results overnight. Now that I am better, I can have my treats again. Are you taking any supplements?
