I have fructose malabsorption. It is not unusual for someone with IBS to have fructose malabsorption. There is a link in my signature to an article on fructose malabsorption and IBS. Figure 2 in the article has a table of favorable and unfavorable foods to eat to manage fructose malabsorption and IBS.

A note - just because a food contains fructose does not mean it is a problem. If a food contains more glucose than fructose or it contains exactly the same amount of glucose and fructose such as white or brown sugar then it is not a problem. Only foods that contain more fructose than glucose such as apples, pears, mangoes, melons, honey, high fructose corn syrup, etc.
