Re: NO COFFEE!       12/30/03 03:07 PM Edit Reply Quote annkent Reged: 12/30/03 Posts: 18 Loc: Mississippi okay.. now on the coffee issue... my Dr.'s sec., who also has IBS, told me that she could drink 2 cups of coffee a day and it didn't bother her. I have been doing that and don't seem to be having much trouble from it... however, a couple of days I didn't drink it and didn't have a BM all day, the next day I did and was 3 BM... last one loose... what is up with the coffee as a Lax? suggestions? I have been told by a friend who has IBS and has had for years that she always drinks the 2 cups no more, and that if she doesn't she will get C even with the fiber supp.?
