No one at all is claiming IBS is entirely food related or that eating certain foods will cure IBS. It is very stress and emotion driven!
There is a balance between SF and IF that must be met, and with C people the IF should be increased but still must be with SF. You really must do more reading and see that you don't really get it yet.

Relying on coffee to have a BM is a house of cards. It will work for a time and then the C prone gut will not be able to move on its own and even coffee will no longer work. You'll be using a spoon like Whitney if you don't learn what is good for you.

Eating only white bread or only oatmeal is a terrible thing to do for C. Please start to get more information before saying the IBS diet doesn't work. The 'facts' you have are not the real facts at all!

As for people not being cured here yet 1. IBS isn't curable and is so ruled by emotion it can always be unpredictable 2. there are people here and those who used to be here that can explain how they did become stable 3. many people who post here don't manage their IBS perfectly or don't yet understand what they are doing wrong 4. improving IBS C is tricky and takes time 5. if you don't want to complain but actually want improvement, many would be glad to help
