YOU CAN DO IT! No, no, no -- don't wonder how -- just DO IT. Believe me, I started drinking strong black coffee back in 1962 when my first fiance died and I started back to work. I've been drinking it ever since -- the hard stuff too! I quit just this past Dec. 11th! Thanks to Heather. If I can do it, Girlfriend, YOU CAN TOO! Come one now, positive thinking!
Believe me, I know it ain't easy -- I KNOW -- but you'd be surprised how much better you feel. Tell me, really -- be honest -- is a cuppajoe really worth having the cramps all day long? If you have headaches and upset tummy ("withdrawals"), drink a cup of green tea or Constant Comment, something with caffeine -- just one -- and taper off. For me, a cup of cocoa worked wonders.
Okay, so it's tough when you smell it brewing somewhere. I can't go anywhere near Starbucks or Wolf's. And if it's brewing in a public place where I am, I just leave. And if my hubby wants coffee, he goes out and gets it and drinks it out there, never bringing any back home. I'm even thinking of tossing out all my coffee cups so they don't remind me of "the good ole days" and buying some nice pretty NEW tea cups instead.
