Unfortunately, that seems to be the bulk of the diet. Any veggies you do eat, have to be murdered before you can eat them. You cannot enjoy them in their natural raw state with all of the vitamins, minerals and enzymes in tact. And you seem to be only able to enjoy a limited amount with each meal. The bulk of your meal needs to be the starchy, white flour products. If you are pre-diabetic or diabetic this diet would spell disaster.
With that being said, I do understand the reasons and necessity of adopting it. It doesn't mean that we have to like it, I guess.
The other night I went out and enjoyed a wonderful meal with lots of fresh, lightly steamed veggies, along with my protein. I took a good hit of calcium before bed, along with Acacia, and only had a small amount of D the next day. If this is what I have to do to get the veggies, especially greens, that I feel I need to be healthy, then this is what I will do. I am really tired of white flour products, (no whole grains), starches, processed cereals, etc. ...you guys know what I mean.
Frustration speaking tonight. There just has to be a better way and another answer. I hope someone finds it someday.
