IBS can strike so randomly and even effect the healthiest of people that it just seems so frustrating. I agree with Renee that the pain should resolve as your bowel movement return to normal. Since being on morphine is not a good long term solution I'd suggest using the hypono CDs sold on this site to help relieve the pain.
