I think Citrucel is Novacol but I'm not sure. Perhaps instead telling your doc the US brand name tell him what it is, and he should be able to recommend something (e.g., tell him you want methylcellulose instead of Citrucel). In my experience medical doctors aren't always familiar with supplements, only chemical drugs.
