I started my dose at 1 tsp twice a day, and after increasing my dose VERY gradually for about 9 months I am currently at 1 TBS and 1 tsp twice a day. I always felt rumblings, gas, and some D which gradually decreased over time (and I was also following the EFI diet), until after about 7 months I finally started to feel somewhat "stable". So, while everyone is different, increasing your dose may be beneficial. If you want to increase your intake, I would suggest doing it very slowly, at 1/4 tsp per increase, letting your body get used to the increase fiber. Sometimes I would stay at a dose for 2 or 3 weeks before increasing. I should also add that I started taking probiotics as well.
