Hello,
I have read through the forums about people with IBS using Antibiotics. I have some questions tho.

My doctor put me on Antibiotics cause I had a very bad throatache. He knows my situation and I asked him if it would affect my bowels.

He said not this one. It contains Amoxicillin which actually could cause problems. Being on it for 3 days has caused an increase in IBS-D and what seems more pain (I'm IBS-D with pain). I have stopped the Antibiotics before finishing it because I don't think they were really needed and it seems they give me problems.

Question is, these problems, do they actually go away with IBS, seeying how we are supersensitive in our gut. Also I read antibiotics could cause a form of colitis. Guess that kinda made me worried and I'm looking for some reassurement
