Re: A poll for IBS-Cers...       05/13/08 05:41 PM Edit Reply Quote Fen Reged: 03/01/08 Posts: 574 Loc: Central NY I tried the Acacia once and got the most horrendous attack of diarrhea/sweating/nausea immediately after that lasted for about an hour and a half. It might have been a complete fluke because I had had abdominal surgery about 5 days prior to that and was probably pretty constipated from the pain medications and not eating much. It may well have been a complete fluke - but I've been too scared to try the Acacia since. I've tried Benefiber, which I swear just bloats me more. I've also tried Fibercon, which I really thought was working for awhile, but now I seem immune to it What else has everyone tried?
