My acupuncturist said I could skip the chinese herbs and just get the needles. He said the treatment is more effective with the herbs but it's OK if I can't tolerate them. My specialist has a 95% success rate with IBS. He said in a couple of months I can slowly add back the trigger foods to my diet. Oh boy, ice cream, mac and cheese and wine, here I come!!!! I finally had a BM today without a laxative. I really think the acupuncture is helping me. It's better than mainstream doctors telling you to buy Citrucel or Metamucil. Thanks for your comments!
