Possible reaction to Chinese herbs       05/08/08 01:48 PM Edit Reply Quote Candy2 Reged: 04/09/08 Posts: 164 Hi, I started seeing an acupuncturist for IBS this past Monday, 5/5. He also gave me Chinese herbs to take that came in capsules in a bottle. I had one capsule twice per day Tuesday and was fine. Wednesday I had two twice per day plus another two Thursday morning and noticed a burning sensation around my urethra. I called the acupuncturist and he said I would still get good results without the herbs. I am feeling a lot better now. I could taste those herbs in my mouth well after lunch. I drank a lot of water to flush them out. The acupuncturist did not think the problem was the herbs. I was worried because tests in October 2006 show I have microscopic blood in my urine. My doctor did not think I have cancer so no cytoscope was done. Anybody else have a similar experience? Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
