Anxiety       04/16/08 05:10 AM Edit Reply Quote Maryann2 Reged: 03/27/08 Posts: 29 I have been on Zoloft for anxiety disorder for the past ten years. Prescribed by my regular doctor. My IBS started several months ago. Going through this I went to a psychiatrist who advised I wean off zoloft and go on Lexapro. I had the IBS under monderate control and now the symptoms have come back. Please don't jump on me - I don't take these drugs for IBS but have to because of the panic attacks I get. I had coronary by-pass surgery and my doctor felt I needed to get the anexity under control. I was just looking for some feed back from anyone who takes any of these meds. Will be talking to the doctor today about my condition worsening. Thanks for any help. By the way I used to be listed as inh but now have my name on my posts-or at least I think I do.
