OMG, you lucky girl ! I wish! Dairy is what I miss the most. But I'm so glad you're doing so well on the GF diet! And I agree - if you have such positive diet response why go back to eating it? What if you found out that you're "only" gluten intolerant as opposed to having celiacs? That there would be no point of eating it anyway. I'm not eating gluten for the pillcam test either. I figured that I've been glutening myself so much in the past that if I actually do have some damage it would show anyway. And if I don't then at least I'm not making myself sick.
Also, as I mentioned before I'm interested if sugar could cause me problems. Did you by any chance decrease the amount of sugar you eat? Or have you just never really eaten much of it anyway? I consider myself an addict, I'm surprised I don't have diabetes by now . I do try to eat healthy but I realized that even the healthy foods (especially snacks) are pretty high in sugar - granola bars, protein bars, chocolate, candy, and I'm not counting sugar from fruit. I really need to cut back .
But anyway, glad you hear you're doing so much better ! Keep us posted!
