Quote: I felt like I was getting too paranoid about every possible food that made someone else sick. I realized that I need to figure out what causes ME problems and that I need to take it slow. For example, someone posts here that they have problems with bananas, so I'm like, OMG, I eat them all the time! So I stop for a few days and then I remember days when I was doing pretty well while eating them so I incorporate them again. I felt like I was jumping from one approach to another with mixed results
This is a very easy thing to do...and I know I have fallen into this anxiety too and should follow your example and just take a break.
I forgot you were in Italy!!!! How cool!
Good luck following both the EFI and the GF diet. It is so hard. I think I may give up the EFI diet (or, less likely, the GF). I am just too constipated and it doesn't seem to help me as much as it has others. But I'm scared to let go of it.
Forgive me, but why do you eat GF? Did you test positive for antibodies? Oh, how's the Acacia treating you!
I'm glad you popped in with an update.
Ya know, I may be getting gluten from unknown sources too. How did you realize what products actually contained it? I can't imagine it would be in too many products. Hopefully? Have you ever met with a dietician?
Anyhow, good to hear from you! I totally understand the need to step back. I have eliminated so many foods from my diet based on what other people have posted. It's very easy to fall into that fear.
