I'm hoping someone out there can help me out- I have a pretty constant pain in my right side, which first occurred while I was jogging. (it feels like a gas pain, but it doesn't go away) It eventually went away that one time, but the next few times I ran it would occur earlier and earlier into my run. Eventually, it became constant, even if I wasn't running. Finally I gave up and went to the doctor. They sent me for an ultrasound, and saw that I had gallstones, so I had my gallbladder removed. The day after the surgery, the same EXACT pain was back. They tried to pass it off as just pain from the incisions (but I knew that it wasn't) Over the course of the year, I eventually saw 2 different GI doctors and after lots of tests and money, all they can tell me is that I have IBS. Which I don't doubt, but no one can tell me about this pain that has now become somewhat constant- and since I don't run anymore, the running can't be triggering it.
I just feel that this particular pain is something different. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
