Hello!

Sorry i haven't replied to all those who replied to the posts i put up a couple of days ago. Thank you so much, i really appreciate it. It's weird how some weeks your life can be dead and then other weeks really busy (this week's a busy one). Anyway, just an update really. I've spoken to my dietician about my diet because i don't feel it's worth the hassle of going gluten free as well as dairy free (like she advised) so i have another appointment with her to reassess things in a month's time. In the meantime she said i can eat what i want. What a license to go crazy!!! However, i think i'm going to be sensible and follow the EFI diet (and include wheat/gluten back into my diet) because everytime i have dairy i feel sick at minimum so i know that's a definite no-no. And, yesterday i had a low fat wholemeal bread sandwich (which was amazing and my first bit of wheat in 6 months!). I was fine but then about an hour later i started getting the bloat. It subsided after 3 hours. Then for dinner i had brown rice and vegetable stir-fry (no gluten and dairy in it and low fat) and i had the same bloat and discomfort again. Today i had brown rice cakes with hummous and tomatoes and the same happened. Which leads me to conclude that the EFI diet is where it's at! Yay, for Heather.

Sorry, that was awfully long-winded. I'm feeling good and hopeful though and just wanted to share
