hi all - not posted for a few days as i was having my barium enema done !! so monday i have to take all the prep (laxatives) first one i took at 9 and nothing happened till 12 then i didnt stop till 11 am on tuesday - was a nightmare but hey had to be done - but to be hoenst by the end of it i was weak (no food for 40 hrs) tired and drained !! and starving hungry lol so tuesday morning i have to stop drinking at 9am so im rattling round hosue waiting for 1pm to come - anyway it comes - i have huge panick attack in waiting room and then they call me in ! anyway to spare u the gory details they put the barium in and rattled me round turned me this n that way and stood me up (nearly fainted) then lied me down then shook me and then inserted air - oh i tell ya not good for a person with ibs lol !! Anyway i come home (suprised i didnt float with the amount of gas still left in me) they told me to eat whatever i wanted t eat when i got home despite any ibs or diareah cause i have earnt it but i played safe and made a chicken lasagne and touch wood not had any probs yet - am gunna try go out later although i not been out in weeks by myself because of the diareah n stuff ! so just gotta cross my fingers and wait for results now. doubt i will have them back before xmas but at least the worst is done !! xx
