Sounds very similar to me! I'm interested in going into the same types of professions and was thinking about doing a Masters in psychology so that i could go onto to train to be a clinical psychologist. The working hours are regular with that job but the training takes forever over here and is really expensive so it's not an option right now. I loved studying for my Masters in Theology but unfortunately it definitely hasn't helped with getting jobs after uni. My IBS is definitely dictating my current choice of jobs which is why i've gone for a new one with more regular hours. I'm hoping that when i'm stable i'll have more options and then i may seriously consider nursing! It's so difficult to know what to do isn't it. What are you doing job wise at the mo?
