Hi Sharon.

I am lying in bed, 3 day after knee surgery-ACL reconstruction. I told my surgeon that I am prone to constipation due to IBS. They prescribed me laxative but I haven't used it yet. I didn't eat for 2 days because I kept throwing up after surgery but I was able to eat some crackers and small ammount of soup and I had a BM this morning, 2,5 days after surgery. I couldn't take their meds because I was vommiting so much from it, so I take 3-4 Ibuprofens every 4-5 hours and the pain is bearable. I hope this helps a little.

Tatyana.
