I have been preliminarily diagnosed with IBS. Your website has been extremely helpful. Based upon what I have quickly read so far, I think I have IBS - diarrhea, not IBS that is constipation focused. With the diet necessary diet changes, I am concerned about ensuring that I receive all of my daily nutrients. I currently take a vitamin supplement, but I am concerned that it may have ingredients which I am not educated about that may trigger IBS symptoms.
It is called Alive - Whole Food Energizer Multi-vitamin. It has a healthy dose of the regular daily vitamins and minerals that are necessary for good health. But, it has other nutritional components that I have questions about such as Green Food/Sirulina Blenda, Amino Acids, Garden Veggies Blend, Orchard Fruits Blend, Myco Delense Mushroom Blend, Digestive Enzyme Blend and Citrus Bioflavonoid Blend.
1.Does anyone have experience with taking this vitamin supplement and its effect on triggering IBS symptoms?
