I've struggled with IBS-D for more than 10 years. About two weeks ago, I bought some almonds and started eating a few handfuls a day after hearing that they were a pretty good source of fiber. From the first day that I incorporated them into my diet, I have been symptom-free! I haven't changed anything else in my diet, so I'm pretty sure that the almonds are helping. I'm not sure if anyone else with IBS-D has made almonds a part of their diet, but you might want to give it a try. (Just don't overdo it--they do have fat.)
