Hi all,
for all of those with IBS, I have a question regarding the consumption of alcohol. Now I am completely aware of the effects of alcohol on the GI tract and understand that it is best to stay away from alcohol as best as possible. However, I am wondering if anyone knows if any particular form and/or brand of alcohol may not be as hard on your system as others? Ever since the onset of my IBS, I have steered clear away from beer; however, I've been too nervous to try another other mixed drinks (e.g., rum, vodka, gin, etc.)
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
