I've started taking 150mg of magnesium supplement along with flaxseed oil and probiotic supplements every day for the last week or so. I've also minimised but not cut out dairy and have minimised wheat but not cut it out (i haven't been eating any pure wheat products though). Today, for the first time in a while i had a very easy BM which was really messy. I'm usually IBS-C so this is unheard of for me. What do you think could have caused it? Should i stop taking the magnesium since that's a gentle laxative? Or should i start eating more wheat like bread as i'm eating mostly IF. In the past minimising wheat and dairy without all the supplements has really worked for me. (Confusion!!! Why is IBS so complicated???) Thanks x
