What my GP told me to do...(found it not very helpful)...       07/18/07 02:59 PM Edit Reply Quote Jennifer67 Reged: 07/06/07 Posts: 72 Loc: Maine Told my gp my symptoms, I have always found her helpful. She said, "well, traditional medicine doesn't handle belly issues very well." She then, at my insistence decided to do stool, and blood testing. SHe then told me to go to the gastro, and try "non-traditional" medicine...like a naturopath. Finally, she told me to eat more fiber...and said eat "apples, and popcorn". Needless to say, I am going to keep on this diet until I get something more conclusive. Oh, and she gave me a script for lomotil? Is this a good med?
