I agree with Flipada, I don't recommend peppermint with reflux. I am an oddity though - I have a hiatle hernia and almost constant reflux if I eat ANYTHING, let alone any triggers, but peppermint does not bother me! My mom has errosive esphoghitus (sp??) and can't do peppermint at all. I'm find it really helps my tum and doesn't cause me any problems. Like I said, I'm odd!
I've never tried the Acacia - still haven't worked up the nerve to try it yet. I follow the diet almost to the letter, I do cheat and have regular Tostitos, not baked, but they don't bother me. Other than that, I eat textbook meals.
I wish you lots of luck - it is a huge lifestyle adjustment to eat smaller meals, more often and with safe foods.
