Weight loss with IBS

Since March 9th, I've lost 20 lbs, due to a combination of being on liquids and not keeping anything down or "D". I had an Ultrasound, Endoscopy and Colonoscopy all in one day and my doctor found I had a Hiatal Hernia and Gastritis. The biopsies showed nothing, all was negative. He diagnosed me with IBS.

My doctor put me on Nexium to start with for a month and see how I do before maybe considering more tests.

Every time I eat, I experience a burning sensation in my stomach and I feel full and uncomfortable. I eat maybe 500-900 Calories a day because that's all I can take. Sleeping has to be at an incline because the hernia will bother me a little.

Have those who are on Nexium experienced relief?
Does this get better?

I've been eating the SAME FOOD (literally everyday) for almost 3 weeks, because the moment I introduce a different food, I get "D".

I needed to lose weight and although I am 10 lbs from being at a normal weight.......this is ridiculous.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your time...
