I usually only eat veggies with my dinner and it's usually smothered in a food that's full of solube fiber like rice or french or sourdough bread. I seem to be okay with cauliflower (steamed and plain), white cabbage, green onions, green peppers, snap peas, corn (I can eat all the corn I want), and celery. Every once in a while I'll throw something new in a huge bowl of rice and I seem to do okay. I ocassionaly take tums or any generic gas tablet, but because I stay really close to Heather's diet I don't experience too much bloating anymore. If i do though, fennel tea is the biggest help of anything.
I am in college, but I can remember having IBS symptoms back to high school. I just chalked it up to being a very shy and nervous person. However, they pretty much disapeared, except during that time of the month, until about 8 or so months ago. That's when it got really bad.
