Hey, i can't be much help because honestly i have only eaten out once in the past 3 months, but i just wanted to say good luck and also, all these suggestions sound really good. i might just start eating out more. i live by a "beach" (its really a river) but there are TONS upon TONS of seafood restaurants here, so i can easily do seafood And theres a Subway less than 15 mins from my house, so that's an easy place to go too.
One thing I can give, i recently did go to IHOP and had great success there. I brought along peppermint tea and ordered hot water, I had an egg white omlette (it was MASSIVE, easily made two meals) and a fruit bowl (grapes, which i didnt eat, banana slices, and melon). There was also a seafood omlette and a couple of other things on the menu, but I only had about $8 to spend, and the omlettes alone are that much, and I wanted the fruit too lol.
Again, good luck!! And remember, the best thing you can do at a restaraunt is to have fun, don't worry too much about getting sick, because you will worry yourself sick! I do it all too often, but hopefully am learning my lesson lol.
